Joel Snell, Founder of Advanced Safe & Lock, Joel has more than 25 years’ experience in the locksmith trade. He is considered a master locksmith with extensive skills and experience in antique, unique and unusual keys and locks.
Frank Cicha, Chief Executive Officer of ASL, has a BS degree from RIT in 1961 and spent the majority of his career in the photographic and printing industries. As he progressed from technical sales to marketing and management positions, he gained experience in business and financial disciplines. He has over 15 years’ experience as a business management.
John Mallette, President, has nearly 30 years’ experience as a master locksmith. He has numerous industry certifications and specialized training in products such as Medeco lock and key systems. His vast experience gives him the ability to find parts and materials that are rare and difficult to locate.
John is a member of A.L.O.A. (Associate Locksmiths of America) and a member of N.S.O. (National Safemans Organization).
John Mastrella, Vice President, has more than 30 years’ experience as a locksmith with training from various locksmith schools. He is expanding his professional experience by taking on financial responsibilities at ASL.
Matt Ruggles, Locksmith, has the trade in his blood. His father and uncle were locksmiths and Matt grew up in the industry. Although still learning, he adds youth and enthusiasm to ASL. He has over 10 years’ experience.
Carmen Mirabella, Locksmith, is responsible for ASL’s shop counter. A man of many talents, he spent 23 years as a photographer in the Advertising Department at Eastman Kodak. Utilizing the “people skills” that he learned, he then spent 7 years as the counter sales for a major locksmith in the Rochester area. Although still learning the trade, Carmen brings diversity and marketing and promotional skills to ASL.
